Posted on
January 1, 2023

2022 was a whirlwind year at HubbleIQ. We were given some incredible opportunities, made new partnerships, and did a ton of growing. To celebrate the turn of the new year and prepare ourselves for all that’s yet to come, let’s take a little walk down memory lane. This is the HubbleIQ 2022 wrap-up.

Spotlight magazine feature

We started 2022 off strong with HubbleIQ co-founder Belinda Batdorf being featured on the cover of Spotlight Magazine. Batdorf discussed her introduction to the business world at the young age of 20 when she noticed an opportunity to develop new import industrialization in her home of Lusaka, Zambia.

Selected for AWS Impact Accelerator

In April of 2022, Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced the launch of a new program designed to level the playing field for underrepresented business leaders. The first series of programs was designed to give Black founders and their companies mentorship, funding, and access to Fortune 500-level technology.

HubbleIQ, along with 24 other Black-owned startups, was selected from thousands of applicants to be part of the program’s inaugural cohort. As detailed by AWS, each startup selected received, “up to $225,000 in cash and AWS Activate credits, an extensive and individually-curated training curriculum, mentoring and technical guidance, introductions to Amazon leaders and teams, networking opportunities with potential investors, and ongoing advisory support”.

Black Tech Week

This summer Keyvan attended Black Tech Week in Cincinnati, Ohio. Black Tech Week is a 5-day festival that brings together POC in tech to participate in panels, seminars, jobs fairs, and more. The event is focused on supporting and uplifting women and Black tech founders, helping strengthen the minority tech community.

Black is Tech

This September co-founders Keyvan and Belinda were able to attend Black is Tech, a 5-day virtual conference for Black and Brown thought leaders. The duo had the exciting opportunity to moderate a panel on Black Infrastructure and the Need to Rebuild on the conference's main stage.

Denver Startup Week

Denver Startup Week is the largest free startup conference in the country, bringing together entrepreneurs from all walks of life to advance their knowledge and celebrate the startup world with their peers. Belinda and Keyvan were selected to be part of an Amazon Web Services panel where they discussed how AWS is supporting underrepresented founders.

Contact Center Week Conference

This October, Belinda attended the Contact Center Week Conference in Nashville. CCW is a 3-day event dedicated to educating those in the contact center world on new technology, trends, and solutions.

Anunta and Genesys Partnerships

This year HubbleIQ partnered with Anunta and Genesys to provide increased value and innovative solutions to their customers.

Anunta is a managed desktop-as-a-service provider, helping employees achieve better productivity and a more pleasant user experience. Through our partnership HubbleIQ is now available to all Anunta customers, allowing them to asses if their end-users are ready to have their virtual desktops installed.

Genesys is a global cloud leader in contact center solutions and customer experience orchestration. With HubbleIQ, Genesys customers gain the ability to proactively monitor and identify technical performance issues before service delivery is impacted.

AWS re:Invent Las Vegas

This fall Belinda and Keyvan attended AWS re:Invent, a 5-day conference connecting the cloud computing community.

Belinda gave a Lightning Talk on the convention floor titled Employee Digital Experience: Why it matters for hybrid remote work. She discussed the importance of a positive digital experience to empower employees and realize their full potential. Click here to watch the video on YouTube.

Keyvan was also selected to be part of a panel with AWS executive Howard Wright on “Being the Megaphone”. They explored how scaled organizations can use their credibility and connections to multiply the value of underrepresented startups.

Women's Cohort Investor Day Panel

As part of their mission to elevate business leaders on uneven playing fields, AWS launched a woman founders impact accelerator program to help empower women in the entrepreneurial world. This fall, Belinda was able to attend AWS’ startup loft in San Francisco to be part of a Q&A panel on being a woman founder in a male-dominated industry.

This year has been a huge step forward for HubbleIQ. We’ve been able to participate in so many events and opportunities, seeing growth beyond our wildest dreams. We want to thank you for your support and for being a part of our journey. We can’t wait to see what 2023 brings.
